On August 19th Essere held its Inaugural Ball at Doltone House. Leopard print dresses, life-size zebra statues and drumming and dancing set the theme of ‘Take A Walk On the Wild Side’! Jeff McMullen did a fantastic job as the M.C. for the evening as did Karl Stefanovic who hosted the ‘locker room chat’ with Steve ‘Beaver’ Menzies, Mario Fenech, Steve ‘Blocker’ Roach and Roy Asotasi. Mark Bosnich- Socceroo Legend and Jamie Whincup- V8 Supercar Driver came to support the kids through the work Essere does.

It was a great success for Essere and for the kids we work with. In excess of $90,000 was raised from the fundraising on the night. A big thank you to all those who came on the night, to the hundreds of businesses and organisations who donated prizes and to all of our supporters. Your generosity will help to make a real difference in the lives of thousands of Australian children!
